Long bean rice

Since  we introduced the box of pencil colours to our boy, he loves "drawing" very much. He said "draw" each time he wants to make some mark on paper. He simply make some random colouring on the paper according to his liking however he learns each of the colour from this activity. He loves saying purple and he says it cute like "popur". This picture shows the daddy trying to impress his junior on his drawing skill. and the junior seems to be intrigued by the stunt.

A dear friend called on last weekend for afternoon tea. We met up in a restaurant in a new area called Four Season place in Air Itam. Short but nice to meet up. This is my first time having this beautiful art coffee. Felt so nice.

2 weeks ago we had a great rainy weather. Don't misunderstand me by thinking I love the rain, I just love the temperature! It felt like staying on the highland, Cameron Highland! Even by not switching on the fan, the weather is very chilling indoor. How nice was that. But it only lasted for a week. Now we are back in the oven. I am still cooking most of the days and I made this yesterday. It is something that my mom used to cook every once and then back when I still live at home. We call it "dou jiao fan" which translates to "long bean rice". I wanted to make it earlier of the week during working day but we kept coming back home later than 6.15pm so I can't make it on time for dinner at 7pm. At last I managed it on weekend. It is not too hard to make just that it's not as easy as just drop everything into rice cooker and turn it on.  Here what my mom usually did was to cook everything in the wok then transfer them into the rice cooker to cook.
What you need is :
2 cloves of garlic, flatten them using the side of knife
2 tablespoon of dried shrimps, washed and drained
3 chinese mushroom, soaked in water to soften then sliced
A handful of long beans, washed and cut into 1.5cm length
200g of pork belly, cut and season with corn flour and soy sauce
1 cup of rice, washed and add enough water for cooking

Heat up wok with oil , saute garlic till fragrance and add in the dried shrimps and mushroom. Stir fry for a while until the ingredients dried up then add in the pork. When you see the pork is sticking to the base of wok, you can add in the long beans. Add half bowl of water, 1 teaspoon of dark soy sauce, 3 tablespoon of light soy sauce, 1/2 teaspoon of sesame oil, salt and pepper to taste. Let the long beans simmer for like 20 seconds then pour in the rice and water mixture. Let simmer for another 20 seconds and scoop the rice out first into rice cooker followed by everything else. Let it cook following your rice cooker manual.

Chilled Oreo cheesecake

Hey! I made cheesecake!

Okay, so it's my hubby's birthday and I asked what cake he wants to eat? He mentioned that he likes the Oreo cheesecake that my sister made before. So I asked for the recipe and she pointed me to chilled Oreo cheesecake recipe by Amy Beh from kuali.com. This recipe is perfect :)

Tada! Here it is!

It's not so hard to make but I divided the process into 2 days due to my full hands in the evening after work. I made the base on day 1 and let the base set in fridge. On day 2, I made the cheese topping with the help of my hubby and let it chilled to set in the fridge again. Day 3 with planning is his birthday so we just blow candle and cut the cake :p. You know, it's not really easy for me to do something like this because of time restriction. I can only start doing my own "stuff" after 10pm , after I put my baby to bed and completed the daily house chores. A lot people ask why do I have so much stuff to do? I said I need to clean house, do laundry, fold clothes, iron clothes, cut fruits, clean kitchen equipment, pack baby stuff, dry the cutlery and plates and pots and prepare next day dinner etc bla bla bla. Then they will have follow up question, YOU WASH CLOTHES EVERYDAY? I don't know how to explain this. I don't wash clothes everyday but every alternate day I will have different house chores to do. You will understand one day if you are in my shoe.

I am very proud of my chilled cheesecake although I haven't eat much of it. We just shared a piece last night because I was so tired and we have no mood cake after stuffing ourselves with fruits. I took a piece to my buddy Stephanie this morning because she said she wanted to try and yeah, encouraging feedback from her. Tonight I am going to savor a piece to reward myself of the hard work throughout the week.

Fabulous 30

I turned 30 and fabulous. When these two being added together, it means I am fabulous 30! I was really happy because this time hubby bought me a cake without me begging him to get me one and I got to blow candles! yay! It's chocolate velvet cake from Humble Beginning and it was so good.

After so many months, I finally got the chance to savour the sticky bone pork rib. We went to Morgan Field for my birthday lunch. This is my first time stepping feet to Paragon. Both of us ordered half rack but of different flavours. We also ordered sauteed mushroom for appetizer and I had a special drink ;) with no alcohol. We were so full after the meal.  This time I brought some finger food for baby J and whenever he screamed I just pop one into his mouth. For dinner , I cooked  "lau shu fen" soup because I need to eat something plain but tasty.

Here's the latest picture of baby J. He's so naughty nowadays, always scream for no reason. He is also very cranky because his gum is very itchy. His 3rd and 4th teeth are coming, I guess.

So as this is my big 30, my dearest buddy Stephanie organized a birthday celebration for me during tea time with Lay Hoong. Lay Hoong's birthday is on the exact date last Thursday when we had the celebration. The cake was very yummy. It is creme brulee from Secret Recipe. I also received hand made card from buddies , Stephanie and Suet Yin. Suet Yin mailed the card to my house and I had already forgotten if I ever give her my home address before ;) It's a surprise then.

Happy, happy ;) in the arms of my loving hubby and baby

Baby J at week 6

I am still on maternity leave and handling baby J alone during work hour when my hubby is off to work. Baby J's schedule now is predictable and I know what he wants and when. It's relief that I told my hubby to hold his parents from coming over again after their first 2 weeks here. When they were here, I barely had my hands on my newborn and I was pretty upset and slightly depressed everyday during that 2 weeks plus. I miss how he looks like at his first and second week. I seldom see him as I was in room resting where baby J was taken out to the living hall all the times just because they want to play with him. I only got to see him during feeding time just that little while and had no chance to hug him more or look at his face directly.

I managed to establish a daily schedule with him that suits my temporary home maker life at the moment except for the night feeding which is still at every 2 hourly. So that makes me a zombie in the day time due to the lack of sleep. I only have 1 hour nap the most in the afternoon during baby J's tummy time (nap). Reason? I got to catch up with house work when he is not awake.

Now, I feel a little relax with the help of hammock that my sister brought here during her visit 2 weeks back. It is a life saver because baby J likes to be rocked and soothed by being carried and walked to and fro in the house. Before this, I can't put him down even for 10 seconds and he will cry to be picked up again.

Here is how his and my schedule looks like at 6th week.

(* the time varies each day)

1:00 am: feed baby J and go back to sleep

3:00am: feed baby J and go back to sleep

5.00am : feed baby J and go back to sleep

7:00 am : feed and go back to sleep

8:00 am : I wake up and fix breakfast for myself and do a little chores in the kitchen and around the house

8.30am: Baby J wakes up and stare alone onto the ceiling and surrounding in his cot

9.00am: Feed and rest for 10 minutes

10.00am: Bath baby J

10.15am: Play and cuddling time with baby J until he starts squeaking. At this time, I have to soothe him, rock him, walk to and fro with him in my arms

11.00am: Feed baby J and put him to nap in hammock, auto-rock.

12.00am: Fix simple lunch and shower

1.30pm: Feed baby J

2.00pm: Put him on tummy for a nap and I can too get a quick nap but get up earlier from him to run some house chores and prepare dinner ingredients. Thaw meat/marinate meat/wash/etc.

4.00pm: Feed baby J and play with him a little while

5.00pm: Give baby J a wipe (to clean and freshen his body)

6.00pm: Feed baby J and yay! Daddy is home!

6.30pm: Fix dinner

7.00pm: Put baby J in hammock so we can eat dinner in peace

8.00pm: Feed baby J

8.30pm: Put baby J to sleep in his cot

11pm: Feed baby J

I think the schedule will be different when I started work :)

Quick update to my new life

Hi, it has been long since I posted an entry. Time is too scarce now and not being so generous to me anymore. I don't cook much and only did the simple steaming in rice cooker and baking/grilling/roasting in oven dishes. There are a lot updates with my newborn but let me summarize them as quick below

1. There is a lot spit up milk everywhere in the house. Eg, on the living room floor few patches, on the carpet in living room ( So we move him away to tiles area)
2. I smell like milk
3. I learn to eat even faster than previous so I can complete my meal before he starts crying
4. My baby drinks a lot these few days like every hour. It exhausts me a lot especially through the night I have to wake up every 1-1.5 hours to feed because he is in growing spurt. By the way, I direct breastfeeding. Never thought this will be so tiring. Anyway, I get to create bonding with my baby. However he still cry all the times
5. The same point, he cries all the times whenever he is not sleeping or feeding
6. My baby can't sleep by himself. We have to soothe, rock, carry, lullaby him to sleep every night for like 2 hours.
7. My husband is very understanding and helpful. I love him and him. Both
8. My baby is alreadyweek 4 now. He looks like a little monk after we shaved his head

He is here at last

I gave birth to a 3.5kg baby last Monday naturally without any instrument or epidural. My son's daddy said I am very tough because of the pain I endured for popping this 3.5 kg flesh and blood out. It was a 12 hours ordeal that I went through. I wanted to jot down a little memory here so later when I looked back, I still remember the moments I spent along the 12 hours on that very day.

On sunday morning, I had bloody show and I figured that the mucus plug had came off. I read that after the mucus plug came out, it can be within hours, days or weeks before baby its born. So I told my husband that we shall go and see my obstetrician the next morning. During the whole morning throughout the afternoon, I felt constipated every now and then. I phoned my sister and another friend to find out how contraction pain should feel like. Both of them told me it's almost like menstrual cramp but more severe one. For me, it's hard to judge because I don't normally has menstrual cramp. I just ignored it until about 6.30 in the evening when I started feeling the pain which is not so mild anymore. I had to stop everything I was doing whenever the pain came just standing there deep breathing until the pain is gone again. Something is wrong. I think this was a real contraction. I timed it was about 6-8 minutes apart. I already boiled a pot of soup since 3pm and I have to stir fry one more vege for dinner besides cooking rice. I didn't even marinate the pork that I was going to stir fry with the vege because I can't stand too long anymore. The pain was quite intense. Quickly after cleaning the kitchen and washed the wok, I woke my husband up for dinner (he was having evening nap) and told him I most probably going to give birth soon and we should eat quickly. I ate like thunder with in between I stood up and changed position trying to relieve from pain. I headed towards bathroom for shower and reminded him to wash and clean up after he finished eating while I shower first. I had to sit on the toilet seat to wash my hair because at that moment, I had trouble standing whenever the pain came. Around 8 pm, we drove to the hospital with packed bags and his beloved DSLR. One funny thing is that when we arrived at the parking arena, hubby pressed the parking ticket from the machine and shoved it to me. He told me to hold it. I was in such a pain that I had to ask him to simply just put it somewhere, don't give it to me. He wasn't aware I was already in real pain. We went directly to the birth unit upon reaching hospital. Nurses plugged me to the machine to monitor my contraction for 20 minutes. It showed my contraction lasted about 30 seconds and 6 minutes apart. Nurse said I should be staying here in the labour room for the night because my contraction is already quite close period. Nurse told my husband to go down to do the admission process while they continue monitor me because I have not even dilated for 1cm yet. At around 11pm, my pain became quite severe that they gave me pain killer jab. Since I had not dilated nurses estimated I will only give birth the next morning, I sent my husband back to sleep at home. He went home and spent some time cooking the red date, longan tea for me so that he could bring it with him later when he came. Around 3am, my membrane ruptured/water bag burst. I vomited the dinner I took the night before sure to the effect of pain killer. Nurses told me to sleep because I would need the energy to push in the morning but I could not fall asleep in this kind of pain. I texted my husband and he came again at 4am. From 3am until 6.30am, I was dilated until 8cm. Nurse said I can't give birth yet because my contraction doesn't last long enough to give the push. Doctor came at around 7am and I was still at 8cm. Doctor gave me a dip to fasten the contraction and making it last longer. I was in terrible pain and already feeling very weak. I had already been in intense pain for the last 10 hours. After he gave the dip,it was like in hell. My legs cramped whole times that my husband and the nurse had to massage my legs every time the contraction came. Both my hands were numb because I hold the railing of the bed too tight whenever it was so pain. I curled on bed like a caterpillar, shaking. My husband asked for the laughing gas (nitrous oxide) from doctor but he was reluctant to give because he worried I won't be able to push as the gas effect will make me drowsy. I told him I was already in pain for almost 12 hours now and if I can't relive from pain, I can't survive anymore. He gave in as I promised I would be able to push later. At around 8am, I can't wait anymore. They told me to wait until 10cm, but I can't. The baby was already almost out. They didn't believe me in the beginning because I had already told them the same thing that I had to push since 7.30am. One of the nurse asked me to try and she saw baby's head. They quickly called the doctor in and setup the bed for labour. At the 3rd time pushing, doctor performed a 2cm episiotomy which I could not even feel it anymore, baby came out at the 5th push at 8.08am. He was so adorable and I could not cry from happiness because I was still drowsy from the overdose off laughing gas. The gas effect made vomited until lunch time. I took too much of it but luckily I was still able to push and get baby out without the help of vacum or forcept.

The labour lasted 12 hours and he is finally out. Love him. My husband loves me more after baby is out, I can feel it, and I know why.

Anticipating

There are 2 more weeks before my maternity leaves official starts. However I am not sure if I need to be off so early but that's what the labour's law says. So let's see. I am taking off 2 days to recuperate. So I am sitting here right at home playing jigsaw puzzle in live messenger with my sister. I have been putting up some gifts from friends over the months for our little sunshine so it's not fair if I do not post this up. This is a gift from my buddy Suet Yin that can fit the baby at later stage. A little to big for him at the moment. :D Thank you very much.

Be healthy and see you!

I have not been talking much here about my feeling for the coming little one in our family. Some how maybe I should jot down a few lines so I can remember this joyful moment in any future. I am almost at the end of second trimester where people claimed is the most comfortable time during pregnancy. I feel the first trimester is the best :p

For the past few weeks, I have been experiencing a lot of little actions in my belly. He has been a footballer, swimmer and gymnast. Yesterday I tried to hold the little gymnast and wanted to let him know how much I wish to cuddle him right then. I caught him right on the fist or the feet, I don't know. Today we did a lot of high-five together. I had never feel this happy before for being kicked inside me. There are times where he surprised me with a stronger kick that makes me stood up all of sudden or woke me up from my usual nappy work hour. It is a miracle to think that I have a little man inside me and he is growing stronger and bigger everyday. I am loving this little gymnast everyday even more and can't wait to say hi to him. I look at the stuff we bought for him along the months everyday and feel happiness surrounding all over me.

Happiness still top over all other small uncomfortable things that I experience along the journey. I try swimming to relieve my back ache but it does not help much. We got a massage pillow to relax my back muscle 3 minutes every night but everytime I sit back again on the chair or couch, the back ache just came back. I started to feel the ache since week 15 or so, pretty early in the pregnancy period. It is affecting my outing time too like I cannot be walking in shopping mall for more than 2 hours or else I feel like my back is going to collapse if I don't lay down right away. After 4pm everyday is off hour for me. I do not want to sit in office anymore. Anyway, I still have to commit to certain occasions that required my attendance but to reject some of them which I think I can be absent to. So I hope friends will understand why I just can't attend some of the activities that they organized.

Other than the backache, it is the hugging a basketball to sleep feeling that makes me sleep light every night nowadays. I just cannot sleep sideways which I am forcing myself to right now or I will be pressed to a breathless point by the little gymnast and all the extra weight. So I spend longer time in bed to compensate for the missing sleep hours in the night.

Despite all these, I am still very happy. Both husband and I really enjoy having this little companion-to-be in our everyday life. So be healthy and see you!

26 Feb 2011

Today Weeliem cooked dinner. He wanted to do the cooking because I was very tired and had been really grumpy lately. That's the reason I did not post any new stuff as I have been cooking all the usual or food that I cooked before. My mind is too occupied with something else. I took a nap at 5.30pm and when I woke up, I can smell the scent coming from the kitchen. Bliss. He was making one of our preferred comfort food shrimp dish and stir-fry bean sprout (dou miao). I made this remark to him during dinner: "Whatever that you cook taste like my own cooking". Yes, it's true because he cooks like me. I made the recipe and I taught him all the steps. That's why the food he cooked taste like what I made. I think this is a pretty good progress indeed which means he can make real food now. I've been thinking a lot about our coming vacations and I can't help to imagine all the trips that we will be making together with Leng and Bryan. I was trying up some clothes in the evening , testing out different combination of jackets, dresses, tops that I will wear for our coming trip. Vain, isn't it. I hope not. I just want to avoid looking like a grumpy old lady in photos. I probably need a spring straw hat to complete the fashion match. I am looking forward for this trip because it's so hot over here in Malaysia. I can barely stand the heat if I go out in the sun nowadays. The pain when the sun got onto my skin, tingling pain. It's a honeymoon cum casual trip for us because we will be spending sometime alone together and other times with them. I'm longing for vacation since our Singapore visit last year in July. Overall, I am happy with Weeliem and I hope I still will for the next 60 decades considering I live up to almost 90... Best case I guess if the world hasn't end.

10 years old and a year old , old birthday

This is absolutely ridiculous making me not wanting to do any work anymore. I posted the same photo in facebook saying to unleash some of the stress I am having. Yes, I am dying to do something than thinking about how much work I am having, how much issues there are now and everyday, the stress I got from work and home..it's too much. Red spots popping out on my skin everywhere due to the amount of stress I am having...

The photo of my sister and I inside the pic was taken back at our old house in BBB. The house was full of boxes that time because my mom had been packing for years to move to the new house, which my parents are staying in now. The photo was taken in my room at hometown.

Our kitchen joint project for the year 2011

Since we are not supposed to celebrate valentine's day news1, so I guess we should not celebrate Mother's Day, World AIDS Day, Father's Day, Children Day and Women's Day as well since they are all advertising gimmick. Hope nobody celebrate Mother's Day with Rosmah in the future.

Anyway, to support in conjunction with V-Day we decided to cook at home to avoid falling into prey of those blood sucker that offer couple package. Our project cost is RM20 per pax. I think it's reasonable considering we have salmon, bacon, prawns and cocktail!

We had wild mushroom soup as starter. Baked salmon with olive oil, salt, basil and lemon slices on top while the fish cooking in the oven to avoid it from dehydrates. Sides are butter garlic baked prawn and asparagus wrapped bacon. We had the food with cocktail made of the citrus orange, grape wine in cold syrup.

Our first V-day after I become a Mrs.

Flood in Johore

It was a tiring day of CNY.. Anyway, this is what happening in some parts of Johore right now due to the continuous rain 2 days back and probably bad drainage system. Some houses are flooded and as you can see the palm oil trees are also under water, or half under water. Dirty muddy water is in their houses. This must be painful.

My best friend wedding in Alor Setar

I am friend with Her Hau for about 10 years now. I have some best friends at home whom I knew for about 15 years or more but Her Hau is the closest to me geography wise because we both went to same university, been housemates, roommate and working in the same department. Her wedding was held last weekend in her hometown Alor Setar. I went to Alor Setar with her before 4 years ago and stayed a night at her home. I am not sure if her mom still remember me but I do recognise their faces.

It is funny that Tze Yee was our course senior but Her Hau had never seen him before in university and talking about how they get together, the story is not too long or short. It is a clinging super love. lol. Tze Yee sang a song dedicated to his wife and gave some touching speech that night. What a lovely wedding.. everything was perfect.

To Mr & brand new Mrs Sim
Now you will feel no rain, for each of you will be shelter for the other. Now you will feel no cold, for each of you will be warmth for the other. Now there is no more loneliness, for each of you will be companion for the other. Now you are two persons, but there is only one... life before you. Go now to your dwelling place to begin the days of your life together. May your days together be good and long upon the earth.

Of course, must have my picture as well!

Lastly this is one of the nice picture Weeliem and I have ever took together. It was so hard to get him to pose for a picture where he was reluctant maybe because I am not qualified. But now after I forced and persuaded him, it is easier ;P. Love you Mr Chong!

Memorable moments in 2010

Julian wrote about some of his memorable moments in 2010. I do not have a lot, I have a few which I think are some good ones

Our wedding last month topped the list. I am now married to the most patient and nicest man. I do not deny that I was quite frustated on our wedding day on some imperfections that occured once a while but Wee Liem stood out and take care most of them. I am really glad I have lots of sisters because now is the time they shine of all. Yvonne came to Penang earlier 3 weeks for her TOEFL and stayed with me until our wedding day. She was a great help in everything and ran everything according to my order and plan. I already thanked everyone on my previous post about our wedding so I am not going to repeat all over again here. Wee Liem and I promised to walk our life together as long as we live, and we mean it.

I always try to make a trip to oversea annually and this year Wee Liem went along or I should say I went along with him and his friends. We had a freezing yet warm trip to Shanghai and Hangzhou early this year and the memorable moment here is the Wee Liem proposed to me during on the day of our anniversary at night. Wee Liem popped the question on the first day we reached Shanghai at Shanghai Bund

Another memorable moment is the very short period my family spent staying at our new home during chinese new year. I drove them to Penang on second day of chinese new year and back to Klang the day after. It was the first time in my mom life she ever come to Penang. This year she made 2 visits. One during chinese new year and second was on my wedding. My family stayed at our home!

There are some food I made for the first time this year
Tang yuan (glutinuous rice balls)

Lion head meatballs which Wee Liem said its the best food so far

Bak zhang

lemon ice cream and many more...

Random update

I finally had a hair cut after so long waiting. I wanted to cut my hair short since months ago but I have to hold my wish because of wedding. I want a bun for wedding and I don't want to use a fake hair/wig to create it. This is the first photo of my new hair right after I came home from hair cut. I have been getting all sorts of comments related to pregnancy at the first time someone sees me, like : "Why that cutting your hair short is a sign of pregnancy?" , " Why is that cutting hair short is to prepare for pregnancy?". Okay, if I am really is.. I will cut it even shorter. This is like shoulder length, easily grow past shoulder in a month time. -_-

Today I dropped by MNG during lunch hour with Her Hau to see if I can get anything for myself. It is their year end annual sale. I got myself a black dress and a bag. Love to max. They are not very cheap though after discount so I am not sure what I bought them. Maybe because my head keep thinking I really need a black dress. A basic black dress that every girl should own one.

This is the wedding biscuits we ordered from LianBee's bakery for guo-da-li. These packages were given to relatives by my parents to inform them their daughter is getting married!

The birthday boy is getting married in less than a week!

I haven't been writting anything lately because life has been so busy. Anyway, I will post more things after my wedding. But we had an early celebration for Weeliem's birthday today. I love you baby. Growing old with you for another year, it's a bliss

Of life, like it or not

Work has been slowing down and I am happy to enjoy life, example writting, cooking and making my DIY things.

I received a few responses about how good that I did the DIY stuff and save money in my wedding. Honestly, I did the DIY stuff for my wedding is merely just for my interest of doing so. There are no cost saving here or what I mean is the saving is negligible. The saving of few ringgits doesn't impact the whole wedding expenses at all. I am extremely happy of doing one or two but absolutely not happy if I am to make 50 or 100 of those, because it is not fun anymore.

The same reason goes for cooking. I cook everyday because I feel happy when I made yummy food. If the food doesn't turn out good like what I expected, the rest of the day will be a sad day for me. If I were to ask to cook for a party, it will be different. It will be tiring and much more effort required. At this point, there is no fun of doing what I like. You know, volunteer to do something and being assigned to do something are totally two different things. But when you were assigned the task, it is not of your own will or probably you are just too shy to reject for not liking. Most importantly is your will. You do what you like to do.

We do things because we love doing them. That's how I sustain living in this cruel world, by doing something that makes my heart grows fonder of staying home keeping safe. It is similar to some people, example for liking to shop, sing karaoke, outings, yumcha sessions, sport activities, playing computer games, facebooking. I am perfectly fine if my friends like to sing-k and I don't think it is a waste of time because that's what you choose to do during your free time. I am very serious when I said I don't like K because I don't sing. It is not of any other reasons like I don't like joining the clique or too pricey or someone is a thorn in the gang. But I really do appreciate the invitation because it is making me feel that I am still wanted in the group. That's why I love my lunch gang and colleagues. They still invite me although 98% of the times, I rejected. Thank you very much people.

Once I encountered a somehow similar experience during some pretty old days. I like making cards. Birthday cards. So I made for friend, and another next because I like making them during my free time. Eventually people started to expect the same thing happening for the other friends. It is not that I don't like the friends, but it is of my interest. I don't like to do it when it became a task. I know it sounds ridiculous, but that's me.

I believe everyone has their own opinion. I don't go againts people. You can like anything and don't like anything, freely.

Nothing more than plain

It's too pathetic that I have nothing to update in these 2 weeks. My life is all about three things: working and working and working. Spending weekend on the big day preparation is fun but it turns out to be frustating sometimes. I had not explored any new special recipe recently, only managed to modify a few everyday dishes. Nothing much special to brag about, you know just reducing some sourness and adding some sweetness to soup or using a slightly different texture of pork by mixing corn flour instead or starch. My kitchen is feeling bored of the owner for not bringing any excitment to it. I grade myself as boring. I am living in a rather plain life, neither a roller coaster ride nor new found of the land of lollipops. Most of the times, my only entertainment is to find someone to chat to from my live messenger contact list. I don't chat to everybody in the list. The active chatting contact pityful has less than five and most of the time, only one is kind enough to entertain me.

Today surprisingly we came home pretty early and by eight o'clock I am ready to explore the internet world again in our comfortable dim lighted hall. The sound of siren heard from our window is from the main road far at the foot of hill. It should be the ambulance, pretty loud and clear from here maybe because we are near to the hill and sound is trapped in this area. Everything returns to serene and quiet environment once the siren dissapeared. At this month of the year, the air is cooling at night. There is breeze compared to March to May period of hot and high humidity; read sweaty. I feel rather thankful for the breeze because everyone can live without air condition now. Ha-ha. That will not save the world though. It is so strange that I spend almost 2 hours to write until this line. I guess I am taking my own sweet time, sure nice.

The hot chicks are having yumcha session tomorrow and I am going to miss another gathering because I won't be home (or for the past times, I was not invited because noone knew I was home) . I don't go home so often that everytime I go back, I will be busy running errands and visiting family members or relatives. It is bad to not having spare time for friends I know. Watching movie.. Bye

A week after

Having to go with the tittle Mrs for more than a week now, nothing much had changed since before hand. I am handling it just perfectly normal. Cooking dinner as usual and sitting at the same position lazying with my laptop every night on the coach is kind of my favourite in contrary to many other girls favourite, outing and shopping. At home I don't feel uncomfortable from people's wandering eyes except for the few occasions where neighbour passing by our door like to peep into our living hall. They are not aware I am a super girl where I can be watching the television or my sight is on my laptop screen, don't be surprise still I can sense if someone watching from the side.

I had a perfect dip yesterday because the temperature in the pool was just nice and the sky wasn't too dark at the right time of the day, after work. Proudly to say this, I can go for 10 laps non stop nowadays improving from 2-5-7-10. Trying to mantain this routine in an average of once a week, I feel less bulky now. It can be a great way to trim for the fittest condition for the big day four months from now. Fully utilize weekend to complete the wedding checklist makes my rest day a hectic one. Both of us were down sick, out of breath from coughing and sneezing few days back, still dosing the medicine until today. Sleep. Bye.
