Photos gone..

I have a new android phone and I used the sync feature to sync everything from my google into the new phone because I uploaded my old phone's contact to google's contact. I didn't know that the auto sync will also sync my photos online into my phone. I have this blog for around 6 years and the photos I had uploaded all the while accumulated up to 2700++. When I saw the photos in my phone gallery, I was thinking what the heck, 2000 plus photos gonna eat up all my phone memory pretty fast. So what I did without thinking is to DELETE all the photos since I have them in my blog. How much would I know that these photos are exactly the same copies in my blog. A few seconds after I press the delete button, my mind was jumping like crazy, heart beating so fast. I quickly logged into my blog and see.. wwwwwwwwooooaaah, all the photos including my banner's all gone. I was deep depressed due to the lost. Any how, I manage to find some latest photos and uploaded them back into the latest posts. The rest, I have no idea when to find them. So, please be careful next time with your phone auto-sync feature. No more next time.

I wish I can take a good shower, have a fragrant vanilla scrub, sit down sipping orange juice from the fridge and learn another guitar code so weeliem won't say that I never practise.

I've got a new member!

The feeling is like when you first time watched your new housemate walking around in the house not wearing a t-shirt. He wears t-shirt everyday before he stepped in becoming your new housemate. I mean outside. You see him wearing t-shirt and don't see him not wearing any t-shirt before. Now he just reveals his tummy to your pretty eyes.

I had a special someone who at last agreed to my blog member after the begging and flirting. So after he agreed, I sent him a request form and set an interview time. He passed the interview with flying colours supported by the reason, he doesn't has a criminal face. I like him and I have seen his writting before. At least he wrote me a sweet and nice testimonial in friendster and with that I acknowledged him as a good writter and forsee that I will have a bright future with this partner. Then he signed up and become a sleeping partner. The thrill of getting a new member had penetrate down into the mantle in the earth. But seems like today the volcano exploded. He post his first entry! Yoohoo!

But I don't understand guitar tabs. I don't fancy music that much. So I purposely keyboarded something to cover the top entry in my blog. No matter how busy I am, I want to do it. I posted this entry in the middle of running my job. My goal is to roll up the work before 12am and I think it is possible. If can't also I have to make it possible because the delivery date is today. Back to my work, adios ... !

Weird bahasa

I always see this in product's description label and really can't stand this kind of stupidity in their language. In english, the description sounds perfectly fine. When it is being translated to malay, it sounds terrible, like a standard three level bahasa melayu. My guess is the designer of the label uses translator like the altavista-babel fish or other online translator tool. Not only on warranty card, I see it on shampoo label, food can and etc.

Let me grab an example.

In English:

We shall always endeavour to serve our valuable customers to the best of our ability when pearls, jades amd other precious stones are delivered to us for setting. We shall however not to be responsible for any damage or loss due to fire, theft, robbery or any cause save, as hereinafter provided, covering any of the items so deliverd.

In Malay:

Tuan-tuan dan Puan-puan yang mengambil manek, jades, berlian dan lain-lain batunya untuk menempah barang-barang kemas. Kami tidak akan menanggung jawab, kalau benda-benda mereka yang rosakan daripada bakaran, rompakan dan lain-lain lagi.
