Fireworks Above The Sky of Disneyland

In the previous entry I did not post any photos on the fireworks show because I never shot any. So I grabbed a few from no-name camera and posted up here for adoration.

When the sky darken, everywhere in the park was lighten by beautiful lightings and neons..E verybody started to take their place near fantasyland because the fireworks was going to start at sharp 9.30pm.

All below are photos of the sky. The show was accompanied by matching musics and narations. Actually at the beginning of the show, there was this super cute tinkerbell flying across the castle but I could not find any photo of it.

Managed to catch a glimpse of the place and took a photo in front of a building when people dispersed after the show ended.

Chap Goh Meh

Today is a gloomy day. It started raining since early in the morning and it is really freezing. I took a photo on my usual way to work and today I did not get lost but still went to the wrong side of my building FM6. We ate a nice Korean food for lunch today. Too bad I did not take any photo of it because I did not bother to bring my cellphone out. Nobody will call :P

Happy Chap Goh Meh everyone!

Magical place where dreams come true

This is a place where everybody's fairy dreams will come true. I always wanted to visit the miracle place which all kids would have known as Disneyland. So my dream has came true this year at the age of twenty five. A little too late but better than never.

It was a freezing cold morning when we arrived and crowd started to gather. In less than half and hour, the place fully filled with kids and youngster and adults and elderly. Everywhere the facilities are very well prepared for the disable people. So everyone is treated fairly and no one is being ignored.

California is a very large state. Many great places are located in this golden state of The States.

We saw Walt Disney and Mickey holding hands welcoming us to Disneyland at the end of main street reaching Fantasyland. It was a bright and shinning day marking an excellent day for visiting Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Snow White, CInderella and many more. I did not realise I was exposed to the sun and became darker because the air on that day was so cooling.

We made our first destination the Mickey's ToonTown. We had to queue up at least 40 minutes for every ride and even to take a photo with MIckey Mouse in a room. Our whole day was mostly queuing up for our turn for each activity.

I met Goofy and took a photo with him!

We watched a few shows too.. This one was singing and dancing by the Royal members of the fairy tales including CInderella, Snow White, Beauty (from the beauty and the beast), Prince Charming and Sleeping Beauty with other princesses and princes.

We watched a show of Aladdin with his magic lamp too. Back to the young days which bring a lot memories.

The cruise which we took later at night while waiting for fireworks. It cruised along the Rivers of America.

Fast forward skipping many other photos.. I straight jump into the Walt Disney's Parade of Dreams at night. At this time, my legs had no feeling anymore, numb from the walk whole day.
Pinochio with his dad :)

Alice in the Wonderland..

We watched fireworks later. It was incredible magical and as described in the brochure, Disneyland presents its most spectacular nightime fireworks show ever. I do not have any good photo of the fireworks so no photos.. :P
It was a exhausted weekend because of the long day activities plus I brought my laptop with me to work at night.

Reporting from Folsom

Some people has been complaining I update my blog too little lately. So I forcely dig some photos when I only have these few to post under this title. Flying to The States is really an exhausting experience. I started off in Penang at 10 in the morning of Feb 12, flew and transiting and ended at 33 hours later.

View from the glass window. SIA flew me to where I am now.

Taking another picture while walking to the laptop internet excess point where I spent my 3 hours sitting there wasting the golden opportunity to eye viewing Changi airport.

This picture was taken at the terminal. We went here by the skytrain.

Upon boarding the plane I knew this will be a terrible flight because a child named Allison started crying and that continued for the whole long journey from Singapore to LA. She only quiet when she slept like 3 hours. I slept for only 2 hours because of that.
The plane was almost to land at LAX. I waited at the airport for the next continuing flight for nearly 6 hours just loitering at the seats there.

The journey from LA to Sacremento was in a very very very small plane where I can hear the engine sound very loudly and the plane was not stable all the time. It housed one stewardess who talked in very American language which I can't get any words from her briefing and announcements.

After I arrived at Folsom, the nightmare did not just end there. My hotel room was booked for the day I arrived but the check in time is at 3pm. I was standing there at 1am puzzling what makes the agent book my room like this. The hotel I was supposed to check-in so coincidently was full house. TY accompanied me to another hotel and checked in. And today now I am safely back to the correct room.

Happy Valentine's Day to my dear. Valentine's Day has just begun.

Off to LA!!!

I am now at Changi airport and will fly to LA in less than an hour. I worked like bull for the past few hours on my transit and I am sad because I never had the chance to witness the magnificent airport. It is so huge and high-tech. See you !!!

Registered

I know it is kind of late but better than none.

I registered.

Not marriage. I registered as a voter for our country. I did it at local post office here.

But I feel the lady who did the registration for me was reluctant to do it for me. She never smiled or talked nicely to me. Maybe I am too sensative but I always thought the post office slogan is something like "layanan mesra" or what so ever that match that. I am quite sure I was her first customer who want to register as voter because she didn't know how to do it.

But alright as long as I have registered, I feel safer. They can't simply use my name for gaining extra vote in the coming election but some more the cheating is always exists. They probably will still vote for me if I don't go back to my hometown during the election process to cast my IMPORTANT vote.

Sisterly photos in Penang

August the fifth is Sister Day. I don't know from where they got the idea to create such day but I know for sure it is one of the business gimmick to make people buy gifts, cards, sms and phone calls. Today is not sister day. I searched my laptop for some training materials but then stopped when I saw the photos took during my sister's visit to Penang lately. So I am grabbing all that we were in the photo together and post them up here.

This photo was taken along the Gurney drive. We first stopped in front of Gurney Plaza but the sun was too bright to capture one nice photo so we strolled till the end and snapped some under the shady trees.

This one was up at Bukit Genting. She told me it was too cold for her and blamed me for not reminding her to bring her cardigan up there.

This one was in botanical garden. The sun was behind us so our faces were a bit dark.

This one was taken in front of Queensbay mall. We tried so hard to pose for a photo because the sun was too bright and hot we can't hold our eye lids open. Actually we wanted to pose with the Penang bridge but it looked so tiny. Failed...

This one was taken in the gift shop at New World Park.

This photo was taken at Fort Cornvellis before they went for snorkelling in Pulau Payar, about seven thirty in the morning.
She is leaving the country again soon. Will miss her..

Worrying

Things has been pretty rush lately. I have a checklist to complete before chinese new year. Shopping, all the paper work, phone calls and application. Breathless.

I am doing nothing but I feel terribly packed with work in mind. My direction is still unclear because I have not check the few top items in my checklist. I feel really incomplete right now except with the fact I have a loving boyfriend, a flower team of siblings, wonderful parents who stive for their kids and leading a happy life. okay, what is wrong with me? I am very worried my opportunity will vanish just like that if I can't finish my task.

2008 Family Gathering

This entry I named it as family gathering for the year 2008. The most important focus of the event somehow still fall on the youngest member of the family. She is naughty and mischievous but too adorable for one to resist.

My sister is back to Malaysia and before she departed for her study again, we had this advanced reunion dinner. My mom and elder sister cooked dishes for king and queen to feed the stomaches of nine of Saturday. We posed for the complete family photo without my brother in law because he was the photographer. Nevertheless no matter how many times we took, the picture did not seem to be perfect.

This one my dad was looking at the naughty girl who can't sit still.

And this one my dad looked at the camera but ern rou wanted to play with the fire :S She seems to be fond of fire a lot because the other day when we went to eat bah kut teh, she watched the fire they used to boil the water for tea. Her eyes just stop at it and watched.

We had the early birthday celebration for my sis and mom too. The happiest girl was my youngest sister because she liked the black forest so much she could not wait to eat it.

This post will become so babious until you guys want to vomit and never want to see baby again.
She is 9 months old and was wearing the pink baby kiko dress I bought for her. It looked so little hanging on her body not sure if the dress too small or she is too big for her age. She is this baby who never reject anyone. She let you hold her but after 3 seconds will shake till you let her go down. I gave her an idle moment sitting on the queen size bed and after 2 seconds, when I tried to grab my camera from inside my bag, she was half body down from the bed side. She was trying to look at the floor with her head upside down hanging from the bed almost scared me half to death.

She crawled very quick even can match my walking speed. Energetic kid who refused to drink her milk caused her mommy's head spinning.

Also a busybody trying to help out as much as she can. Whatever we wanted to do, she will lend her hand and never let go afterward -_-''' So cute can cure my coughing..

Never stop crawling..

My younger sis taught her how to clap her hands but instead she made the "gong xi gong xi" act, ready for Chinese New Year..

Wish to see her again soon and everyone of them... :)

I've got a new member!

The feeling is like when you first time watched your new housemate walking around in the house not wearing a t-shirt. He wears t-shirt everyday before he stepped in becoming your new housemate. I mean outside. You see him wearing t-shirt and don't see him not wearing any t-shirt before. Now he just reveals his tummy to your pretty eyes.

I had a special someone who at last agreed to my blog member after the begging and flirting. So after he agreed, I sent him a request form and set an interview time. He passed the interview with flying colours supported by the reason, he doesn't has a criminal face. I like him and I have seen his writting before. At least he wrote me a sweet and nice testimonial in friendster and with that I acknowledged him as a good writter and forsee that I will have a bright future with this partner. Then he signed up and become a sleeping partner. The thrill of getting a new member had penetrate down into the mantle in the earth. But seems like today the volcano exploded. He post his first entry! Yoohoo!

But I don't understand guitar tabs. I don't fancy music that much. So I purposely keyboarded something to cover the top entry in my blog. No matter how busy I am, I want to do it. I posted this entry in the middle of running my job. My goal is to roll up the work before 12am and I think it is possible. If can't also I have to make it possible because the delivery date is today. Back to my work, adios ... !

Say Hi to my member .. :D

Mungkin Nanti guitar tab

Recently been caught up in a "Band Wave", so me n a couple of my coll hastily form a band and "jaMMing" here we Go! Talk about rashness eh... I quickly decided that we played the melodic hit single Mungkin Nanti from the indonesian band "Peter Pan". The tabs online are not complete so I've improvised them. Ah, lazy to write... Nah here it is! Sorry about the small font& weird spacing, apparently I still need to read up on "Blogspot for dummies"

So much to do, So little time

Now when I am writting this entry, I saw some patches of lights outside my window. There is a plane just flew above my roof. If I am still a kid, I will run outside and catch a glimpse of the plane before it lost of sight. But now I do not have the urge anymore because I see it so many times till I feel there is nothing exciting about it.

I have so much things to do, but so little time. I wanted to upload the document needed but I do not have the full set of the items needed. I was too tired to work every night. I feel sleepy at 10.30pm and can't concentrate after 11pm. I am getting demotivated. But somehow God knew it, so He gave me a chance to reboost my motivation.

I have nothing to write because I don't feel so special anymore. It was special and it is special sometimes but not so special. I don't know what am I talking about. Nevermind. It is not important anymore. I will just cope with it. I am sad. I am not feeling alright. How??? My oxygen level is decreasing till the level where it is hard to breath.

A Change

As we marched into year 2008, everyone seems busy defining their new resolutions. Some start planning their vacation for the whole year, picking up long weekends for trip and visiting the property fair to book their favourite apartments.

As what I did, nothing. I did not draft my resolutions for 2008 yet. There is one important resolution I would like to achieve that is to get at least 10% increment this year. I understand it is kind of hard because there might not have any special market adjustment this year. The second resolution is to loss 3kg off my weight. This one need extra effort and more sweats. I was ready to go jogging at the park today but too bad it rained. I lost one golden opportunity to realize my goal. And the next one is I want to travel to more places on earth. It would be great to step into western countries and touch the snow or feel the spring. Eastern would do too :P

To my surprise I made a shocking decision last Saturday which I never thought I would ever do if I am given another time to consider about it. I permed my hair!!! Yes, and it is freaking brown colour, I dyed it too ...

# New year, new look #

When I woke up from sleep, I suddenly have this crazy idea in my mind "I want to perm my hair". Just a soft curl will do and more of it, I don't want change my hair colour. So when I told WL about it after lunch, he agreed to send me to the saloon. Upon reaching the saloon before I get down from car, I asked WL what should I do when I go into the saloon? So he answered:

There are 4 things you need to ask. 1)What kind of perm suits you? 2)How much is the price? 3)Get advice on the dye 4) How long is the process? . Remember there are four.

I got down and forgot ALL and only remembered to ask them, "do you guys accept credit card? ".

So that is the story of my #new year, new look caption#

Just a day before I fried mee hoon for my team's barbeque event. It was one year ago since we had our last barbeque, lantern festival in two-o-o-six. We had this one at Sunrise Garden BBQ pit hosted at James house.

One of the random group photo

I had to show at least some stuff to prove we really BBQ-ed

There went the new year resolutions, new year BBQ and new year look. I just completed my new year entry.

Kek Lok Si again !!!

I have been to Kek Lok Si so many times and this is the time when I really have some nice photos to post on although not from my camera. Thanks to Kevin..

My sister and Kevin gave me a visit last weekend during their vacation back to the country. It was kind of tiring because I had not recovered from my post-Krabi trip and yet their visit to Penang was the moment I was awaiting for months. I could not even imagine what they will look like in the early morning when I fetched them from the bus terminal. Nevertheless they looked just like in photo, young and cute.

My boyfriend insisted we drive up to the temple but the rest of us wanted to walk the stairs. Yes I know, it was hot and stuffy in our Malaysia weather but we wanted to see the stuff selling at the stairway.

The things they sold here can be seen in supermarket, pasar malam or gift shops. So we did not bother to purchase any, just windowing.

This was one of the reason I took the stairs. To see the tortoises, so many of them that some stacking up on another.

We feed the tortoise spinach. The water was kind of dirty but the animals can survive in there. No wonder they live over hundred years.

As usual, everyone who came here will pose with the pagoda. We went up to the fourth floor of the pagoda and came down because the view was the same. :P

There were seven floors I think.

This is my favourite picture of all!!

Behind the kuan yin statue, there were many more smaller kuan yin on the wall. So many it filled up the whole hall.

I found something huge that can emphasize myself as tiny.

Walk walk walk walk walk walk walk walk walk walk so much...

Luckily the incline lift that we took was air-conditioned. It was so cooling in there.

We went up in the incline lift just because of the kuan yin statue. bronze one.. which cost a fortune. They were in progress of building a pavilion for the statue to protect it from the sun and rain I supposed. We saw Jin Wen and with his boy friend here. Penang is really small.

The old kuan yin statue was this white one which now left only the head. I heard they cut down the giant kuan yin which once stood tall at the hill because it terrified the other religion.

Rest a while on the steps, chit-chatting, making friends, discuss about life and dream about future .
I miss my friends. They came visiting two years ago and we went to Kek Lok Si too. Everyone is hundreds of kilometres away from each other now. Sob..
