Yi Chong cut mooncake on his B-day

It rained almost everyday two weeks ago but lucky us the sky was clear for outdoor activities last Friday. The most important ingredients, chicken wing for BBQ was not prepared until last minute. We planned to get marinated chicken from Tesco but they did not sell any that day. Thian Min and Yi Chong bought a bottle of terriyaki sauce and went back office to marinate the chicken wings on spot.

I fried mee hoon and arrived at VE where some early birds already there starting the fire. Soon everybody's voice filled the BBQ pit area and camera's flash light was everywhere. There were so many photographers on the night, like the moth's lover Teik Li and Her Hau's lover, Tze Yee. I did not bring my camera there and the few photos I posted here are courtesy of Ikbing, Cannas's boyfriend.

It was already a year since our last BBQ. This time we wanted to celebrate Yi Chong's birthday and also at the same time paying a little attention to mid-autumn festival.
Mooncake as birthday cake, it was a special way of celebrating birthday.
We hung lanterns on tree branches at the side. The view was very lovely in a way. Cannas and Cathrane chose all these pretty lanterns with Disney theme.. We had winnie the pooh, minnie mouse, mickey mouse, snow white, cinderella all hanging there accompanying our party till the end. Eng Heng joined us late, but not too late. Glad to see him after his so long time in dungeon.
Our party ended at about 10.30pm and everyone headed back home for a good shower before doozing off in bed.
Do you miss us now Fang Fang?
